June Glowbox!
Second attempt!
Subscription boxes are available in Greece a few months now but my first encounter with them was just last May when I decided to buy a one month subscription to Cherrybox. My expectations were quite moderate because i was not familiar with most of the brands used in these boxes, but I got pretty excited while waiting to receive it and I was quite pleased with it, mainly because it included a generous travel size of Philosykos by Diptyque, you can read my rave about it here
While I was considerating if I should purchase June's as well, I found out that it was sold out.
A few days later I saw a mention somewhere about Glowbox, I looked it online, quite liked it, cost 12€ for one month subscription (free delivery) so I ordered it.
First thing first: we're talking about extra speedy delivery, I think it just took one-two days to reach my doorstep.
The box itself is well done and I'm sure I'll find a use for it.
What's inside the box is what impressed me the most, because every item was from brands that I knew of, even if I hadn't as yet tried any of their products.
That's better Yummy Mummy: It's an anti-cellulite product with caffeine, if I'm patient enough to use it for a month I will tell you how it works, lol! It's a full size product and the average sale price is 15€.
Apivita sunscreen 50+SPF: well, this is definitely my cup of tea but it will stay sealed because I just stocked up on my favotite La Roche Posay Anthelios Xl. It's size makes it ideal for travels.
Avon Mega Effects mascara: i was sooo excited to see this! My hands are itcy to open it and try it right away but I already have the Maybelline Falsies and a Mac one in rotation, so I'll wait. I know, we're talking about hardcore mental drills here the knd of " no, I 'll patient and will not open it, I can do it, I can do it" lol!
Full size product, it costs 8€ if I'm not mistaken.
Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse: another item that I wanted to try desperately but for some reason never purchased so far, happy camper here! Generous travel size once more (30ml), it will last me a while.
Sephora Sunset on the Beach nailpolish: this is a very pretty color, pink red with pink shimmer. Love it! Full size as well, these nailpolishes cost 5€ I think.
Jane Iredale Lip & Cheek stain in Forever Pink: I wanted to try this brand for a while now and I'm very pleased with this sample. It is on the tiny size, it's true, but still handy because it can fit in the smallest purse. It's like an almost colorless lip balm but it's supposed to actually acquire a tint after a few minutes. It does feel moisturizing on the lips but as for the color, I can't see any worth mentioning tint. I haven't tried it on the cheeks though, i feel that it will stay "wet".
I also liked the "menu", it's very colorful and fun.
I'm definitely going to buy it again, i hope that July's Glowbox doesn't sell out instantly!
That's all for now, I hope you're all well and thriving!
